Eden Fractal Pitch Sessions
Pitches is a social coordination game where players compete to share the best pitches about public goods and their peers rank each others’ pitches!
So far we’ve played Pitches at two Eden Fractal Pitch Sessions where public goods creators had opportunities to promote their grants. These pitch sessions can be a great place to promote your work, learn about exciting projects, and network with other public goods creators. Pitches are played with the new Cignals app, which enables communities to express consensus more effectively than ever before. One of our favorite parts of pitch sessions is how they can inspire cool shows. Similar to ideathons and other FractalJoy games, these pitch sessions provide natural opportunities for communities to collaboratively create media with the power of DAMS. For example, we’ve hosted four Pomelo Pitch Sessions at Eden Fractal meetings.
We held our first two Eden Fractal Pomelo Pitch Sessions with great success and heard amazing pitches to create public goods in week 41 and 42 of Eden Fractal. After that, we did two more in week 55 and week 56. You can watch all sessions and explore show notes in the links below:
EF 56: Gamifying Public Goods
Aloha! In our fourth public goods pitch session, we ride the groovy waves of collaboration and play Cignals to rank the most fun and beneficial pitches! 🌴 🌊 🏄🏽♂️
EF 55: Inventing Games for Public Goods!
Jumping out with our third public goods session where we share and rank amazing pitches from Eden Fractal community members with the new Cignals app! 🪴 🌈 🌞
EF 42: Pomelo Grants Pitch Session #2
How do we fund public goods? After playing Eden+Fractal, we hold our second Pomelo Pitch Session where community members promote their work and show how Eden creates profound benefits for all! 🍀
EF 41: Aquadac and Pomelo Grants
Douglas introduces Aquadac, a new fractal collective to help people achieve goals and connect with community. We discuss spirituality then hold the first Eden Fractal Pomelo Pitch Session! 🌊
You can watch the pitch session begin at 2:08:14 and see grants from several talented community members for the following half hour. As Dan wrote in the Cagendas topic proposal, “This kind of pitch session can provide us with opportunities to quickly learn about each other’s work and support the amazing public goods creators in our community. This can also be a great way to promote Eden Fractal with the unique benefits of cagendas consensus games for collaboration, networking, and video creation.` There are many exciting possibilities that we can explore now and in future seasons of Pomelo…”
Collections
Anyone can create a Pomelo Collection to curate projects that they love. You can learn about collections in this article and explore below to learn how we’re using this feature.
Eden Fractal Pomelo Collection
Dan and other community leaders promoted the Eden Fractal Pomelo Collection to curate grants from amazing builders who are empowering communities with fractal cooperation and consensus games. You can explore the collection to learn about the talented builders in our community and explore timestamps from our 42nd meeting video here to learn more. You can view the previous show notes for more details.
More Pitch Sessions
In addition to Eden Fractal pitch sessions, there are also many other types of events where public goods creators can promote their work. You can see some of these pitch sessions in the Pomelo Pitch Session Twitter Spaces, Pomelo Pitch Deck playlist, and EOS Fireside Chats. You can watch a couple of our videos at these events below:
