Another reason why we shouldn’t do liquidity now or soon:
Tax liability. Can’t be welcoming to new members in many countries if price is very erratic in early weeks with high inflation , turmoil growing pains, and people all on camera. What if they’re earning of 10k in week 30 goes down to 2k in week 32? They now owe 2k in taxes?
By one year, the development of the community Should be much more stable and solid foundation
Another reason - measuring by price. In eos many chats are diluted because people talk about the price “. The same thing would happen if when Eden has market value. So we should avoid price to avoid the price talk
Another reason - tax free mining. When tokens are mined before any market value, there is no taxable event. When tokens are mined with market value, there is a taxable event in many jurisdictions. If we mine for one year without any taxable events, then we’ll wind up with many less problems and many more tokens that if we incur taxable events early in the mining cycle
Another thing to consider - Fractally Genesis is not liquid until feb 2023. If we go liquid first then Eden fractal would be the only investable fractal , which may cause over speculation. Dan Larimer deals with the consequences of over speculation every day after block one and it adds a lot of negative aspects
Another thing to consider/ we’re on exponential growth trajectory with may great creators builders. Don’t want to ruin it by going too fast. Ie my music career aligned with Felix video career aligned with Vlad dev career, etc
Some option that may be helpful to explore at some point is gradual liquidity. But not any time very soon, we should at least a few more months

If we had market cap of say 1 million, then that’s like $70k released every week. That’s way too much pressure for the host and entire community. Way too much incentive to game the system and the community may be overwhelmed by people who just want money by showing up for meetings and don’t have understanding/respect/appreciation for our mission/goal/purpose/members.
What if there’s 70k on the line and the host lets the meeting go on for an extra 3 minutes and that changes the consensus? Perhaps does someone in that room get mad that they lost $5k because the host delayed the room? How many people are dependent on $5k and emotional about that amount of money? A lot. Is there a chance that they’d get mad and resentful of the community? Is there a chance that they’d sue the host or other community members.

Liquidity is like fertilizer. We don’t want to over fertilize. Uncontrolled growth isn’t good. We need to be careful to grow at the right pace.
