The Story of Vlalendas and Cagendas
After speaking with Vlad and writing the ideas, I reviewed prior proposals for agenda systems. I realized that this system is quite similar to Lennie’s proposal in many ways, so I merged Vlad, Lennie, and Cagendas into a portmanteau to be “VlaLenDas’
The first placeholder name for Vlalendas was Vlad’s Vision because it was largely inspired by Vlad’s thoughts after the first Eden Fractal Brainstorming Session. After reviewing Lennie’s proposal and discussions about Cagendas from the Eden Fractal Brainstorming Session, I decided to rename it to Vlalendas. The name made me laugh at first and it has a nice ring to it!
Vlad created a proposal for an agenda system that helped inspire Vlalendas. Vlalendas was originally dubbed Vlad’s Vision because it was mostly written after asking Vlad what he thought would be best.
Lennie created a proposal for an agenda system that helped inspire Vlalendas and Cagendas. The name Vlalendas was conceived immediately after re-reading Lennie’s proposal and realizing how much it inspired the idea.
In Vlad’s vision note that this is my interpretation of Vlad’s vision from our conversation, plus some of the ideas that I suggested during the conversation and Vlad agreed with. I considered giving this proposal a different name and it will probably be helpful to name it in the future, but for now it is called Vlad’s Vision.
