Hey everyone, this is Dan Singjoy, I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your day!
This page includes many drafts and notes about the Eden song that I’m creating.

I shared a music video featuring this song a couple weeks ago, which you can watch below. The music video only featured about a minute of the song, and my friend Vlad asked me if I had a longer version, to which I replied that “There are longer versions and I could share some drafts if you’d like, but the song is still a work in progress and I don’t have a great finished version yet.”
Vlad requested that i share the drafts, which i very much appreciate and was super inspirational for the Eden song & songwriting process as a whole. At this point I’d like to say sorry to Vlad for the long delay, it’s been about a week since then and I wanted to respond much sooner, but there are so many exciting drafts and it took me a while to figure out the best way to share them.
I took some time to figure out the best way to share it and ultimately decided to share basically all the drafts & notes for the song along with this intro to provide the most interesting, helpful, and rich experience with the most great options for Vlad and everyone listening.
I figured that its most helpful to include everything to enable anyone to dive into the song as deep as you want and also curate some of the best content here at the top of the page if you want to just quickly listen a fuller version of the song.
So as I said earlier, there’s a huge amount of content here. On this page you can:

I love the potential of sharing all these notes and am thrilled about sharing the whole songwriting process with you all...
but one of the risks with sharing the whole songwriting process is sharing to much at once & overloading people with a bunch of content that’s not as well refined or exciting as the final version fo the song
The full songwriting process has a time & a place and many people just want to hear the song without all the behind the scenes work, so i want to make it easy to listen to the best recordings while also providing the options to dive deeper
I’m looking forward to sharing a much more refined version of the full song soon

This might seem like a lot of work for just some song drafts and maybe i went way overboard by putting this together when Vlad simply asked me to share a draft, but:
- like I said there’s a huge amount of exciting content & experiences throughout all of these notes that I’d love to share
- It didn’t feel right to share just one draft when there were many other drafts that were great in different ways
- I’ve been thinking about expanding the collaborative process of songwriting in this way for a long time
- With Eden Creators and ƒractally, I believe that we can & will innovate new songwriting processes to create so much more amazing songs than ever before
- This is also true for all collaborative creative processes as a whole, like filmmaking, visual art, writing, etc
- There are so many amazing musicians that have dozens or hundreds of wonderful songs in progress that the world never hears
- I have so many songs like this with hundreds of notes and recordings that are in draft stages
- With eden creators and fractally, we can collaborate with a more ‘open source’ ethos of sharing notes and curating well
- And aligning incentives and creating together
- So anyone please feel free to take this song in whatever direction you feel inspired, if you feel inspired to do so
- of course there’s also beauty and excellence in sharing the full version when ready and looking forward to it, but this songwrting process...

LISTEN - WHICH AUDIO IS MESSED UP OF THESE TOP 2? BOTH. I know at least one was messed up and i need to fix it.
WAV file- Exported via logic>export>export region as audio file- 32.6mb
ACC file - Exported via Logic>share>song to music> then open song in finder via music - 6.1mb - TEST is this ACCaudio sound worse than the WAV audio above?
March 28, 2022: Recording in Ableton with better quality- the last 1:15 is what was used for the eden music video and fractally presentation video- sounds cool without the extra reverb too…
April 3, 2022: This was the first recording where i attempted adding layers and audio effects in Ableton. There is so much potential here. Some of the vocal harmonies and guitar riffs are really fun and beautiful, though some parts of messy and it needs work
