Interim Consensus Processes
The Genesis ƒractal and Eden ƒractal are building DAOs in accordance with the designs of the ƒractally whitepaper. Page 39 of the whitepaper outlines a fractal governance system whereby teams are empowered to make collaborative decisions for the benefit of the community.
These communities have yet reached the scale or technical infrastructure needed to adopt the governance system outlined in the whitepaper, so the Genesis ƒractal and Eden ƒractal are both exploring interim consensus processes to make collaborative decisions for the benefit of the community.
Daniel Larimer proposed the first interim consensus process in June 2022 and it was accepted by the Genesis ƒractal shortly thereafter, but this process was obsoleted with the Fractally Whitepaper Addendum. Now both communities are exploring new forms of interim consensus processes.
Below is a summary of interim consensus processes and resources to learn more.

You can watch discussions about an interim consensus process during the second half of recent meetings at EdenFractal.com/videos
This process can also be used by the Eden ƒractal to make future changes to the consensus process. When there are enough respected teams in Eden ƒractal, then we can use this process to adopt the consensus process as defined in the ƒractally whitepaper.
