For the past year, I’ve been working closely with the Consortium developers because I see enormous potential for Consortium to help empower all kinds of communities, including Eden Creators and EdenOnEOS.
Consortium is a dApp on EOS which provides polling and governance software to help communities make the best decisions possible. For example, the Eden community has a page on Consortium where Eden members can create and vote in polls:
For the past six months, the Consortium team and I have been preparing to launch the Eden Consortium Pollathon.
The Eden Consortium Pollathon is a competition where Eden members can earn GOVRN, the Consortium community currency, by creating helpful polls for the Eden community.
With the Eden Consortium Pollathon, I aim to empower the Eden community with the immense benefits of Consortium to make the best decisions possible!

After many Eden members shared comments about Consortium Polls during the past week, I became super inspired and realized that Consortium is now in the perfect position to help lead the Eden community by organizing Weekly Eden Events.
These Weekly Events can work in a similar way to the Eden Elections in October, though there could some interesting differences. For example, we could decide to focus the events on many exciting topics that we choose with a credibly neutral, community process using Consortium Polls. The prize pool could be composed of both GOVRN and EOS tokens. Many more exciting ideas are in development and of course we can also iterate quickly to include any helpful developments from Dan Larimer’s upcoming proposal.
I believe that these Weekly Consortium Events will be incredibly helpful for the Eden community in many ways. These Consortium Events can be super fun, help us coordinate our community to make better decisions, provide opportunities to experiment with the vast design space of fractal governance, inspire profoundly helpful connections, and help us create an awesome library of exciting video content about EOS!
I am now creating a document to further explain all of the exciting details and a proposal to start Weekly Consortium Events in the next couple of weeks…

We started discussing many exciting ideas about Eden Creators and Eden Consortium after 30:07.
We also spoke about empowering billions of communities with the next versions of fractal governance, ECOS, the future of Eden 1.0 and 2.0, protocol owned liquidity, and many other fascinating topics.
We started discussing the plan to start doing Weekly Consortium Eden Events at 1:13:04 and discussed exciting details from 1:19:52 until the end of the discussion.
During the past week I’ve spoken with about ten Eden members who have expressed interest in participating in these weekly events.
It would be awesome if we could do an event with at least 16 people in the next week or two. This would enable us to do two rounds with four people in each group. Of course, the more the merrier!
It would also be awesome if any Eden Delegates, the ENF, or anyone else would be willing to donate a small amount of EOS towards the prize pool. These events could work very well with just GOVRN in the prize pool for many reasons, but a bit of EOS in the prize pool would also be very helpful to increase excitement and incentives for everyone in the community.
I’m writing a detailed proposal to explain exactly how these events can work and how these events can be super helpful for everyone in our community. I’m aiming to share this proposal in the next week and am super excited to hear everyone’s thoughts!
