notes from the first episode

Thank you for joining, hope you’re having a great time and ready to enjoy a bite of Fractal Apple! We’re jumping right into the first episode of Fractal Apple and playing it by ear. I’ve been thinking about this show for the past couple months and decided to start it today… yesterday!

I was planning to prepare the show more and make a really cool intro video and all sorts of cool stuff… but I decided to jump right into it without much preparation because it’s Pomelo Season. Pomelo will only last for another five days and I’m very inspired to do livestreams funding public goods on Pomelo, so here we are!

Today I’ll donate 200 EOS to public goods creators on Pomelo. I’ll tell introduce Pomelo to you for anyone who is not yet familiar (it’s a super helpful new tool to help communities and fund beneficial work for everyone), show how I’m using Pomelo with the Eden Creators grant, and show you some of the awesome builders and public goods on Pomelo. The first episode will be live on the Eden Creators Twitter and Dans Party Youtube channel. It’s quite an improptue show, lol. We’re celebrating over six months of weekly Eden Town Hall and Eden ƒractal meetings … and I’m stoked to share a new kind of wild and wonderful show with you!

The show will air for abpit thirty minutes, then we’ll have open discussions at the Eden Town Hall at 16:00 UTC, which you can join here. Comments during the show are welcome and appreciated. I’ll share a bit of an introduction to each of these grants during the show to help spread the word about their amazing work and show you how their work can be helpful for you.In the future, I’ll also donate more funds to these projects and others. I put this list together quickly and will donate more in the future, as well as feature exciting projects in much more detail. Just getting started!
