What is Albedo?
Albedo is an innovative system to empower traditional blockchains with fractal cooperation. Albedo offers unique approaches to fund fractal cooperatives, empower community members, and improve lower layer governance mechanisms for the benefit of all.
Tadas published the Albedo whitepaper in July of 2022. In the next month, he published a more concise summary called Albedo Idea in Nutshell and spoke about Albedo in a NovaCrypto interview. Albedo has continued to evolve since then and Tadas is working on a new version that includes insights from two new articles: Fractal Blockchains and Fungibility out of Non-Fungible Tokens.
Tadas shared the newest details about Albedo in a second NovaCrypto interview in October. You can watch this interview and read more below. The following graphic illustrates a high level overview of some of the mechanisms in Albedo.
Where can I learn more?
Before publishing the whitepaper, Tadas frequently participated and shared ideas related to Albedo during ƒractally on EOS Brainstorming Sessions. In October 2022, Tadas created Eden+Fractal, an innovative consensus process synergizes well with Albedo.
How can I support Albedo?
You can support the development of Albedo on Pomelo. You can also support Albedo by reading and watching the resources above, sharing your thoughts in the Albedo Discussion Thread or Albedo Telegram, and participating in Eden ƒractal meetings. You can follow Albedo and Tadas on Twitter for updates.
In August 2022, Patrick Schmid and Dan Singjoy hosted a NovaCrypto interview with Tadas where you can learn more about his work and Albedo. Tadas, Patrick, and Dan recorded a new interview with updates about Albedo in October 2022. Shortly after, they also created a video with updates about Eden ƒractal, which is closely related to Albedo. These videos and timestamps are below.
