EdenOS is an open source DAO software open to all AntelopeIO communities. We're raising funds to pay for development to be used in the advancement and expansion of the EdenOS codebase.

Problem:

The EdenOS DAO software that is being used by a handful of communities throughout EOS (e.g. Genesis Eden Chinese Eden Korean Eden EOS Respect) no longer has a singular dedicated team focused on improving the software and tools for the various AntelopeIO communities to use.

Solution:

By raising funds through Pomelo we will continue to make improvements and open source additions to the EdenOS codebase that all DAO communities can use, modify and benefit from.

The open-source code additions that will be added to the EdenOS DAO software:

Member remove function (work on this so far can be seen here). Specific tasks include:
Understanding the implications on the subchain of EdenOS when including a remove function
Testing the functionality in the Jungle testnet with mock elections and member removals
Adding an INLINE_ACTION to check if an account is an Eden Member or not
Creating documentation on the new feature and the proposed changes
Testing the distribution of funds after members have been removed
Various configurations of communities to have different membership configurations to have elections that involve subsections of a community vs the entire community.
NFT issuance for various DAO participation actions. This is useful for sybil checks that other applications could leverage.

Any developed code will be made available to all Eden-based DAOs (public or private) so they too may introduce these features into their version of the EdenOS code underpinning their community.

Edenia has agreed that any funds generated from this Pomelo submission will only be used in accordance with the above solutions. All code changes will be made PUBLIC and FREE TO USE.

100% will be used for open-source code development work targeted at the EdenOS Open-Source DAO codebase.
